850social Now Playing for VirtualDJ
===================================

Shows the track you're playing on your 850social DJ page. It runs inside
VirtualDJ, so there's nothing else to open. Needs VirtualDJ 8 or newer with a
Pro license (VirtualDJ only loads start-up plugins for Pro). On the free
version, use the 850social desktop helper instead.

Install
1. Close VirtualDJ.
2. Copy the plugin into VirtualDJ's AutoStart folder (make the folder if it
   isn't there):
   - Windows: Documents\VirtualDJ\Plugins64\AutoStart\850social Now Playing.dll
   - Mac with Apple chip: Documents/VirtualDJ/PluginsArm/AutoStart/850social Now Playing.bundle
   - Mac with Intel chip: Documents/VirtualDJ/Plugins64/AutoStart/850social Now Playing.bundle
3. Open VirtualDJ.

Connect it to your page
1. On your 850social dashboard, open your DJ page and click "Make my key",
   then "Copy key".
2. In VirtualDJ open Settings > Extensions, find "850social Now Playing" and
open its panel. It shows what's on air and up next. Click the gear at
the bottom right, then "Paste key".
The status line changes to "Connected as <your name>".
(Already set up the 850social desktop helper on this computer? The plugin
finds that key on its own.)

That's it. Each track you play is sent about 20 seconds after it goes on air.
Tracks you only cue in headphones, or rehearse in Sandbox mode, aren't sent.
Flip the Send switch at the top of the panel off to pause it.

Up next: your page also lists what's coming. While automix is running that's
the next songs in your automix list; otherwise it's a song you've loaded on
the other deck, once it has sat there for a minute. Want it a surprise? Turn
"Up next" off on your 850social dashboard.

Mac: if VirtualDJ doesn't list the plugin, macOS may have blocked it because
it was downloaded. Open Terminal and run:
  xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine ~/Documents/VirtualDJ/PluginsArm/AutoStart
(or Plugins64 on an Intel Mac), then restart VirtualDJ.
